Chelsea Home Inspections LLC is a family-owned home inspection company serving Shelby county and the surrounding areas.

My goal is to give you confidence and peace of mind with one of the single largest purchases you will ever make.

That peace of mind comes in knowing I am knowledgeable, trained, and licensed by the State of Alabama.  I have passed the National Home Inspector Examination.  I am a member of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) and I am required to complete a minimum 24 hours of continuing education classes each year.

Prior to Chelsea Home Inspections, I worked in manufacturing, where I served as Director of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (A.M.E) for a Fortune 500 company.  As Director of A.M.E, I oversaw new construction of several multi-million dollar facilities, some as large as 240,000 square feet.  I also had oversight of 21 seperate facilities with regards to  maintenance, functionality and service of building systems such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.  Including management of an annual maintenance, construction, and upgrade budget in excess of $20 million dollars.

My 25 year career has provided me extensive knowledge of building sciences, construction techniques, and facility maintenance.  This combination of commercial field experience, education, and training as a certified and licensed home inspector ensure you receive a detailed home inspection you can trust.

Inspections are a non-invasive, visual examination of the accessible areas in a residential property.  I will inspect all areas of the home including the roof, exterior, basement, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and interior systems.  The latest technologies, such as thermal imaging are used during all inspections to ensure a complete and accurate assessment of the homes current condition.  Chelsea Home Inspections follow the Alabama & InterNACHI standard of practice.

All inspections include a detailed report with photos to ensure you understand each item.  A summary of the report can be reviewed with you on site at the end of the inspection if you'd like.  With the detailed report available later the same day.
